Happy Friday!
The Power of Intentional Networking
At our last Mastermind, we discussed the importance of having an intentional, powerful network. You committed to building out your own Heaven 7, Divine 9, and Sweet 16—key relationships that can fuel your growth and professional development. If you missed the session, or need a refresher, here’s a quick overview.
Dr. Tom Hill's Networking Philosophy
Dr. Hill teaches that relationships are a critical pillar in achieving success across all areas of life. He emphasizes the need for intentional relationship-building that spans personal, professional, and spiritual networks. His framework for growing your network focuses on the concept of surrounding yourself with the right people—individuals who will support, challenge, and inspire you.
- Heaven 7: These are your closest relationships—people who are in your inner circle, who support your goals, and whose guidance is indispensable to your personal growth.
- Divine 9: People who are slightly further out but still have the power to help you through introductions, advice, and emotional support.
- Sweet 16: A larger group who may not know you intimately but whose professional and social influence could provide valuable opportunities and open doors when needed.
Building Your Network: Steps for Success
Here’s how you can begin building or refining your network:
1. Clarity on Relationships Be intentional about who is in your network and why they’re there. Start by assessing the value each relationship brings into your life. Ask yourself:
- Who inspires me?
- Who offers valuable, actionable feedback?
- Who stretches my thinking and encourages me to reach higher?
Once you've mapped out your Heaven 7, Divine 9, and Sweet 16, get to work on nurturing these relationships—checking in regularly, offering help, and remaining authentic.
2. Develop Connection and Trust Trust is the foundation of any relationship. Dr. Hill’s networking principle reminds us that one person who believes in you can change everything. Building that trust takes time but is worth the investment. Make it a priority to:
- Regularly check in with your top contacts.
- Seek ways to be helpful first—before asking for anything.
- Make promises and keep them—integrity builds trust faster than anything else.
3. Strategic Outreach Use the upcoming December Mastermind to share connections and network in real-time. You’ll have the opportunity to meet and connect with others in the group who share your goals or offer complementary skills. It’s not just about who you know, but also about who you can introduce to others—growing your influence by becoming a connector in your circle.
4. Organize Your Networking Dr. Hill's G-Curve approach (setting goals over a 6-year, 3-year, and 18-month timeline) applies to networking as well. Think of each relationship as part of a larger, strategic growth curve—growing over time, with measurable milestones.
- 6-year goals: Who do you want to align with for long-term, transformative relationships?
- 3-year goals: What relationships can you deepen to help you on your next big professional move?
- 18-month goals: Who can you learn from or connect with in the short term to move you closer to your next milestone?
Mastering Your 2026 Goals: Use Your Network
You’ll need more than just goals to make your 2026 vision a reality. At the upcoming Mastermind on December 10, you’ll have the chance to further dive into your network map—along with actionable tools from Dr. Hill’s curriculum like the G-Curve, which will help you set goals not just for work, but for relationships.
You can:
- Map out how to activate and grow your network with short-term wins and long-term goals.
- Leverage the Mastermind group to help you define these connections more intentionally.
When you have a clear understanding of how your relationships are aligned with your professional objectives, you’ll unlock genuine opportunities for growth, collaboration, and value exchange.

Note from the Editor
As we close out 2025 and look toward the bright opportunities of 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on the power of connection. Over the course of our recent Mastermind sessions, we’ve explored powerful frameworks like the G-Curve and strategies for intentional networking—but none of it matters without the relationships that support our growth.
You’ve committed to deepening your network, aligning your relationships with your goals, and making intentional strides toward becoming the best version of yourself. Now, it’s time to activate that plan.
In December, we’ll do exactly that. We’ll bring these strategies to life, together, with tangible steps and actionable goals. I challenge you to show up—not just to the session—but to the relationships that have the potential to elevate you in ways you never imagined.
Remember, one person who believes in you can change your life. So, let’s make sure we’re surrounded by those people and that we’re becoming the kind of people others will believe in.
I can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish in 2026—and I’ll be here, right beside you, cheering you on every step of the way.
To your growth and connections,
